Anyone familiar with the boot process of the Epic. I'm looking specifically for the call for PowerOn.wav the power up sound. I can put a decent sized 30 second sound file in the place and it starts playing on boot but there is a damned 6 second limit to the audio and I want to blow them out the water with audio and video so can ANYONE point me in the right direction to rid this 6 second limit?

It may be somewhere in the init - I'm about to unpack the kernel and get at it myself, so if I see something, I'll pass it along.

Thank you!! This will definately help us with sound added to the Black Ops Boot animation

Just a word of warning... 30 seconds of sound on startup, well after the animation is over, would probably drive most people mad.

22 seconds is my goal.

def. anything over the animations time would be a bit annoying as well imo. But match the animations time and your the man!!!

Hoping the music doesn't play past most animations shouldn't be a problem seeing that most animations play the first parts of themselves in the first 15 to 20 seconds and anything after that is just the final part file of the animation that is set at loop till phone boots. So a 22 second or 30 second shouldn't be an issue.
