Damsel in Distress! Samsung Galaxy Prevail!

Soooooo.... What I am actually doing is converting my HTC Evo by Sprint, to Boost Mobile. I have everything I need except the drivers for this Samsung Galaxy Prevail (the phone that has my current Boost Mobile service on it). Here is the problem I am encountering. When I plug my Prevail into the computer via USB cord, it does nothing but charge the phone. I am wondering if I somehow disabled something to where the phone will not "talk" to my computer anymore. I have downloaded and installed several files claiming to be drivers, but have still not found a solution to this problem. I am most new to this cell phone unlocking game, so any tips/tricks/pointers would be most appreciated. I do not need to root the Prevail, I just need it to talk to my computer. Try this, phone plugged in, goto computer either desktop or start menu, right click it and choose properties, advanced, device manager. if you can't tell which is the phone, un plug and re plug the phone in and watch for the change. Highlight what pops up and click uninstall. Then attempt to re install the drivers after you delete the current driver

Thank you! I actually solved this problem.... I wasn't using the correct connect cable with the phone, that's why it wasn't hooking up. I have another phone with a similar cord and I get the two mixed up all the time. I figure it out though thank you :) Now I am at the step where I have to get drivers for HTC DIAG, and I cant get my computer to accept them >< Grrrrr

Try pdanet it's for windows has most phones drivers and installs them
