Wifi on E4GT issues

Hi,
My Epic 4g touch that I purchased back in february and now its been having issues with the wifi radio. It will randomly turn on and off while I'm on wifi and not cellular data. It happens about once every few minutes or so, but its really annoying. My dad has the exact same phone as me but his phone never has any of the those issues. Is anyone else with an Epic 4g Touch having these issues? Thanks :D

rooted or not and what rom if yes and what kernel modem?

Its has been rooted running AOKP alpha 3 with the el29 modem and the wifi would drop. Then I un rooted and I still had the exact same issue as before. I went to sprint and they hard resetted my phone which is what I had done at my house and it still continues to have the issue. Also the vibrator doesn't work anymore at all
