I was just wondering if it is unusual to be running a nandroid backup a few times per day on average. I find that if I have a minimum of 5 app updates in the market, or if I make a few significant changes in an app or system settings, I will delete my current backup and run a new nandroid backup.

I was wondering how many people do their backups randomly and as needed, or how many people follow a set specific schedule and just run them like say, every wed at 9pm and every Sunday night too..

Cool, I guess I just get paranoid since nandroid get your phone to exactly how you had it, except for modem of course. My experience was after playing with custom roms and stuff for a few months, I did just one quick thing on accident and fried my data partition to the point that recovery & download mode was erased so I essentially was hosed. When I got my new device and popped in my SD card with my backup files, my new phone was back to exactly how my old phone was set up and I was ecstatic. So I think I just think at the time that "after I update, my phone is set perfect, so I better make a backup of it" lol..

I am now back to ICS with MIJJz BlendICS v2.5.1 and it's pretty much Rockin!

I want to try AoKP v28 and AoSPmod ICS ROM, but IM liking the latest update from the nocturnal team so I think I will leave it for now.. :)

I make a perfect nandroid right after a fresh ROM install, apps restore, and setup everything.
From here I will create a nandroid before installing a theme or mod in case of failure, especially if I am over laying different mods and have cause for concern that things might break.
I have also learned to always keep the ROM.zip I am running on the devices storage. This way in case of trouble I can wipe delvic nothing else and restore the device to a working state without having to reset up. I know it's a dirty flash but works in a bind.
