Something happened in the unlock/root process. My suggestion to you is flash the stock SBF file to lock and return to stock and redownload all files to unlock and root.

It's because of the font on the dialer and in Manage Apps. You can use Font Installer from the market to change it. I like the font and it doesn't bother me too much so I rolled with it. HAHA! ...
