Completely rebuilt based on Mysense 2.3.4 Leak!

Please post any problems, questions, and feature requests in this thread. It is helpful to consolidate all of these things in one thread to allow me to get to them quickly. I check this thread very frequently and will do my best to answer all questions quickly, and provide all of the support that I can. Help me make this ROM great and let me know what i can do to make it better!

Some people may wonder what the purpose of this ROM is. Why would you remove the sense aspects of a Sense ROM, when you could just use gingerbread? The way I see this ROM is it is the best of both worlds. It gives you the speed and battery life of gingerbread, with some of the desired sense apps, widgets, and features of Sense.

Wipe Required: Full wipe each flash (unless otherwise stated).


INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS / RoyalSenseless 1.2

- Download the ROM and throw it on the root (main folder) of your SD card

- Boot into recovery

- Wipe data

- Wipe cache partition

- Wipe dalvik cache (under advanced)

- Install from zip / choose zip from SD card / flash it!!

- Give the ROM a few minutes to boot, initial boot may be long, but it will speed up.

- Let the ROM boot, sit for 5 minutes and then reboot, let it sit for another 5 minutes and the begin setup


This should be common knowledge by now but if you want to complain about an issue make sure you have a log cat also you should be running a log cat on every first boot. If you dont have ADB set up on your computer follow this very easy guide to set it up. It truly only takes a few minutes.

Well that is a hard question for me to answer. XDA is a good community, and there is a lot of good information on it. TeamRoyal saw the opportunity to jump in with a great group of people here at ACS, and we are very happy to be a part of their team. Well I got hooked on RoyalGinger, and just flashed RoyalSenseless today, so I'll definitely be following Team Royal. I love what you guys are doing for the MT4G. Can't wait to run RoyalSenseless through the paces this week.

I'm kind of new to this stuff... what is the etiquette on donating for a ROM? Does it go to an individual (lead dev), or to the team? How much is customary? Any link to a good place to find this info?

I'll try to be more quiet and stay out of the way, as I'm not able to give much input except the occasional bug report. Love what you guys are doing, though. Thanks again.

Well first off, don't stay out of the way. We all start somewhere and learn, so if you have a question, ask it, and people will help you. Any input you have is valuable and there is no such thing as a stupid question. Obviously there are tons of resources available to gather information from, but if you have exhausted all options, please feel free to ask and I will be more than happy to help.

As far as donations there is no such thing as donation etiquette. The decision to donate is completely yours and you can and should do whatever you feel is necessary. None of us develop to make money, so any donation is icing on the cake and is appreciated. As far as the rest of it, the decision lies with you. If you want to make a donation to the team, I can point you in the right direction and the same goes for if you wish to make a donation to a specific developer. Just ask for the information and we will provide you with it.

Please do run RoyalSenseless through the ringer. I am welcome to suggestions and feature requests and if you should encounter a problem (although i hope you don't) any information is helpful in solving the problem.
