Yeah, that's what I did. Still have full root, custom recovery, all the good stuff. RCMIX worked before the update but got bootloop this time I flashed, wanted to know if this had the newer kernel

I release my kernel in any kernel format. It doesnt replace your ramdisk in your boot image. Its a safer way to flash a kernel. Just make a backup just in case it doesnt work.

Yeah I flashed the 2.3.4 xhausx odex. updated radio, blah blah. didn't update hboot. I think the kernel is different. Quadrant scores higher. The best I got with this kernel is the first sshot.

When did the kernel 2.6.35.14 get released?? All I've been able to find is 2.6.35.13, which is what came in the OTA software release version 2.08.651.2.

Since all android kernels are based off of linux, you can update to the latest Linux release version and merge it into android. .13 has been used on other devices for about 6 months with android 2.3.3.

Thanks klquicksall, so your RCMIX 4.1 kernel should be good to flash over any of the new v2.08.651.2 Gingerbread 2.3.4 roms?
