The boot animation is the animation that plays while your phone is booting up. Hopefully everyone already knows this. :) If you have an idea or an animation you want to try to make into your phone's boot animation, post it. We will see what can be done with it.
ACS custom boot animation can be found in the thread link below.

Here is a boot animation specifically made for the StarDroid ELF, GOBLIN, and RANGER roms. Please remember that this is based off of an old idea. It will just be something to hold things over until I complete the other concepts I am working on. I just figured I would post it in case any one wanted to try something different for the StarDroid ELF or GOBLIN boot animation. You need a program such as Root Explorer or even the free version of ES File Explorer now has root permission also. Transfer file to sd card. Copy file with one of the above mentioned programs and then paste this file, without changing the name, to system/customize/resource. Mount that folder as R/W first before pasting and either delete or rename the existing bootanimation zip file inside this location. If renaming the existing file just change the ".zip" extension to ".bak" in case you want to keep the previous file. You can always change the ".bak" extension back to ".zip" and it will work again. (More animations will be coming in the future.) Enjoy.
Revised ELF version inspired by Inspired55's ideas, (Rename file by deleting the "55_" in front of "bootanimation"):
Original ELF version, (Rename by deleting the "1" in front of the "bootanimation":
GOBLIN boot animation, (Rename file by deleting "Goblin2_" in front of "bootanimation)":
RANGER boot animation, (Rename by deleting "Ranger_" in front of "bootanimation":

Darn, I had StarDroid 500 rom in my head when I named it. I will rename the file and I will re key it to slow it down. Plays slower on the computer. Sometimes it is hard to gauge the timing in my head between computer and phone since the phone acts differently. Thanks for letting me know.
EDIT: I just tested it on the phone and the first play through looks fine, then each subsequent loop seems to really speed up during playback, which is weird. I will slow it down, re render it out, and post the file up in the previous post with the link. I will probably get to it in the next hour or so. Fixing it up now.
