All right here's the deal, it's caused by a google addin app called onetimeinitializer.apk that handles installing the market itself and specific google apps (this app isnt technically needed). in order to get past this restore your working rom DON NOT DO A WIPE AFTERWORDS then flash my rom allowing it to backup all of your user apps (the more apps you have the longer the flash will take so be patient) once it is all done it will restore those apps from backup and then reboot. at this point if you are prompted on first boot to install apps choose no or cancel i really cant remember since i never do a wipe anymore LOL. i'll take care of this in the next upcoming rev.

Ok everything seems to be working fine now. I followed your directions, and now all of my apps are reinstalling. I did notice that after every application installs, the splash appears for a minute and then goes back to the lock screen. I assume this is normal as the apps seem to be installing fine. I am going to let it continue to run until it is done and then customize it to my liking. I will reply either tonight or tomorrow after everything is setup completely. I haven't had the lockscreen repeatadly come up for me but then again I dont have a large amount of apps (only about 15) so my apps are generally all populated in the system by the time i get into the phone, so if you have a large number of apps it can take some time for them to all populate in to the launcher even though they are all installed before first boot. this may be the root cause. I'll look at adjusting the timing of the initial setup to see if i can aleviate this issue.

I'm going to run with the Hybrid version (0.0.5) for the weekend to make sure all the bugs are out and will post on Monday 10/10/2011. This will likely be the final version of this ROM other than bug fixes and such. I'm not sure what my next project will be yet but I'm sure I'll come up with something.

OK, think i have all of the bugs fixed this time may still have a backup and restore of apps issue that i am working on with the help of a few other devs from here. ill post as soon as i have everything figured out.

Im working on v1.0.0 which hopefully will resolve all of the remaining issues in this ROM I'm shooting for a release date of Monday 10/17/2011 providing everything pans out over the weekend.

So Mr. Stayton, (is it ready yet?) just wanted to let you know (is it? is it?) that I'm patiently watching (how much longer?) for your next release. This is not in any way (is it there yet?) shape or form (I'm so bored with 0.0.7!) meant to pressure or hurry you (Cappy is tempting me, I'm, gonna tell!). I've always appreciated the detail and thoroughness of your work (I gotta go to the bathroom!). Not being pushy...not at all! <hehe>
