Download the One Click Root!!! Run the .bat file if on Windows, or the SH file if on mac/linux

If it doesn't work for some reason. Reboot and you'll have root.

Samsung drivers if needed -->Drivers for Windows!

i ran the root, everything seems successful.

then i went to privacy and reset everything.

first thing i always do is download the wireless tethering.

....it say wireless tethering is working but "with errors"

thought maybe i messed something up , so i rerooted and reset things in the privacy again.

same issue with the wireless tethering again.

i check the "show log" as the icon flashes, and there are 8 settings, 7 of them pass, but the 1 that 'fails' is the ad-hoc mode

let me know what i can do to help guys

ok, i re-rooted the transform ultra and then left things regular , without resetting in the privacy tab.
--> Still get the same error in wire tethering app --> ad-hoc mode FAILED

Another thing i am noticing, is reduced adobe-flash-based speed

since the transform ultra has adobe flash, i had been watching native youtube (from the browser, - Not the youtube app) previous to rooting

Since rooting, flashed based sites basically wont even function, weather 3g or wifi??

obviously i am using the wifi mostly, since it is way faster than boost mobile 3G.

scratching my head here?!?! lol, maybe i could be missing something but i think i have everything setup perfectly. phone seems rooted properly.

so far:

*ad-hoc mode fails in wireless tether
*adobe-flash-based websites won play videos correctly - if at all.

I don't use wireless tethering so idk.
And my flash is working fine. Check your reception?
GB's tether works fine, plug in usb, download launcher pro, hold down, create shortcut, activity, then scroll down to settings, then find tether settings. Works great!
