How to unroot your ZTE Warp and return to stock rom

I loved my rooted ZTE Warp, but I bricked it into a constant start-up loop. To return your ZTE to stock and start over again, go to this link http://www.zteusa.com/support/index_1101.html#2 and download the online upgrade tool for the ZTE Warp. Also download the PDF manual for your reference. I used my pc with windows 7 64 bit installed, and it worked without problems. The online upgrade tool will also install the drivers needed for the ZTE Warp. Install the software before connecting the warp. But before you connect the warp, you will need to put the phone in FMH mode. To do this you will have to turn off the phone, then hold the volume down button and power button at the same time. Once the phone is in FMH mode, start the software, then connect the phone by usb cable. The software will detect the phone and start scanning the phone. After the scan, it will offer to upgrade your phone. Click on upgrade, and go have some coffee or something to eat. It will take awhile to complete. Once the upgrade is done, the phone will reboot, and you will have the original stock rom installed again. You can root the phone again afterwards. Please note, it will fully wipe your phone of all personal information. Remove your micro sd card first. It work fine for me. I am not responsible if you damage your phone but the instructions are easy enough to follow.

Looks like ZTE support removed the upgrade tool for the Warp. I will try to post the files on a hosting service.

I have posted the files here http://www.mediafire.com/?9efb1jf7s2umeit and the manual here http://www.mediafire.com/?8ollfvcexasbemc You will need to unzip them to your desktop and run the software as stated in the first post.

Unhappy Re: How to unroot your ZTE Warp and return to stock rom

I would like to know how can I root my ZTE Warp. I was looking for an easier way to do it. I've been on another forum and I can't seem to understand what to do. I mean they tell you to download some package, then install it to your pc, but they don't tell you which app to install from that zip file. I really need help. I cannot use Handscent's themes from their site and I cannot use Super User all because of some su binary thing. I am so new to this root thing. I really need help asap please.

I followed the instructions at the ACSyndicate ZTE Development link http://forums.acsyndicate.net/showth...-Root-for-Warp

It worked perfectly for me, I followed the instructions step by step, I was rooted. Be sure you are logged into your ACSyndicate account to download the files needed. I just checked the links, and they are still working.
There is a youtube link using the same files. Just search within youtube, "Root The ZTE Warp"

Ok. I will check it out. It's a shame I had to download all these files and got confused and crazy trying to install them. But I will try to do it.

Ok when I set my phone to debugging mode and hooked my phone up to the pc, after running the WarpDrive.Bat file, I get this in the command screen:

    OCR for ZTE Warp

    Using zergRush

    You should have root!

    Have a wonderful day!
Press any key to continue . . .:( I don't get it! I this mess it preventing me from logging into Handscent Services where I can get a theme, unable to see list of apps in SuperUser, unable to get my profile to back up my stuff on Titanium backup and unable to access the root of the phone itself. I just got this phone yesterday. Why does this have to be soo hard? I thought the update, which I did is a B0c at the end, you are to do a different method. :( I have done this several times.
