If you're rooted the OTA probably won't work

Thanks guy for the video. I am having issue with the update. I place the zip file on my sd card. When I get to the clockmod and run the zip i keep getting an abort message and it never loads. Any idea on how to correct this problem. I am running acs recovery v 1.0.0.5 cwm4 based.

I have a rooted Epic that is running EI22, I downloaded the update from above and went to install it. I got:

First, thank you so much qbking77 for all of the "how-to's" you have developed. EXTREMELY well done.

I have a quick question and am guessing the answer is pretty quick as well. I'm running stock EI22, rooted, with the GPS fix applied (that's was the whole reason I rooted: to get the GPS working). I'd like to update to EL30. From what I understand, I need to:

1. unroot, flash back to EC05 using ODIN and your guide here: http://youtu.be/MFazLOVXPns
2. let the phone update itself to EI22 and then EL30
3. then reroot and clockwork mod using your guide here: http://youtu.be/kwFRzzIqouE
4. re-apply GPS fix

My question is: if I'm using titanium back-up, and backup my apps and system settings, can I simply do a restore from titanium (apps+system) after step 4 above? Or do I need to go through and set-up all my accounts, apps, etc?
