Try installing CPU Tuner application, see if that works. It works for me when I have the screen off, but when the screen is on, the battery life still sucks.

I'm also experiencing bad battery life.
With light use: down to 12% with 6h 46m

I'm usually at my desk, so I can be tethered and charging...but still.

Ur welcome, just be careful, chose beginner if your new at it, you may overclock your phone and damaged it depending on your phone, my limit for my phone is 1000mhz, keeping it safe from overclocking it,choose smartassv2 governor for when you have it for screen off, and I lowered the hurtz to 400mhz, I noticed if I lowered it below 400, the phone starts to act weird and restarts

If you're having bad bettery life, make sure to install the alpha1 update... should improve battery.

I concur, A1 is better with Battery life, i'll post some screenshots here in a bit, my NB didn't start this morning so my focus is on that right now.

Has anyone found how to do Speed Dial? I go to setting under the dialer and the option isn't there. I've looked on the Contact Cards and there is no option to assign a speed dial number.

I installed Exdialer to get speed dial. Hopefully more options as this comes along

I had a half day with no service, not sure of the cause, but took off exdialer and no problems since then. Since then I found the "Direct dial" widget you set them for any contact and position them where convenient. I think I like this as well as speed dial or better.

when using exdialer my phone couldnt call or text. i restored it to what it was at before and it worked again. anyone still got issues in alpha 3?

I installed A1 this morning (9:30am) and at about 10:45am CST my phone started to play an unexpected ring. I took a 30 sec video and afterwards, couldn't really find why the ring or alarm was triggered. I restarted the phone and the ring went away and hasn't come back since.

im on A2 & it did tat 2 me too i made a phone call while it was doing tat & it went away, its like a low ring why is tat anybody knws
