[How to Root][Return to Stock][Fix Soft Brick]

This is a simple guide I put together. This guild will allow you to root your Verzion Motorola Droid2, Return to Stock, and Fix an soft brick. As always feel free to ask any questions you might have.

    ROOT

In order to root your Droid2 download the attached one click tool and drivers then follow the instructions. The author of this exploit made it very easy to root your droid 2. All credit to him for this tool.

    Root zip
Motorola 64 bit win 7 drivers. Extract then and run the program.

    RECOVERY

Go to the android market and download the Clockworkmod bootstrap for the Droid2. Then follow instructions on the app.
In order to enter clockworkmod recovery manually you will need to hold down the power button and the 1 on the slide out keyboard. Once the screen flickers release the power button while holding the 1 on the keyboard down.

RETURN TO STOCK OR FIX A SOFT BRICK

    Download the two files below

    RSDLITE 4.9
    Motorola Official 2.3.3 .sbf

    1. Now extract rsdlite in a folder where you will remember where it is.
    2. Extract the Official motorola firmware as well.
    3. Open rsdlite and place your droid 2 in pcmode. Rsdlite should see the droid2 an indicator will pop up on the program.
    4. Click on the small square in the upper right corner and nav to where the stock Motorola firmware is. Now click start and let it go.

If you are soft bricked then do the following

    1. pull the battery
    2. place the battery back in
    3. hold the power and vol up and vol down. The screen should flicker then release the power while holding the vol up and down. You wil now be the stock recovery.
    4. Open Rsdlite and the program should see your phone.
    5. Follow the steps above.

    HTC ATT ONE X
    Rom Just putting stuff together
    Kernel: Stock thanks to HTC

    HTC Sensation
    ROM: RCMIX Sense 4
    Kernel: RCMIX SENSATION 5.5

Will this work on the 2.3.5 version? I tried Shabby's one click method but because I already have the 2.3.5 verison it did not work. I also saw a Topedo method but it delt with entering some dos promts and I did not feel comfortable doing that. Looking for another way.
