    Welcome thread say hello

    Greetings, all!

This is a forum dedicated to the development of Google Android related products and components. All members here are part of the development team and therefore are trusted team members. We will all be working together, so I would like us all to introduce ourselves in this thread. Please give a short bio and also tell us:

    * How you are contributing to the team
    * What you plan to do with the team
    * What you may need help with or want to learn
    * Anything else you want us to know

Please note that the site/ROM name is a working name, so it is temporary. However, we’d like to use something with an ā€œSā€, for the Galaxy S line.

    Welcome Everyone!

Remember SHARING MEANS CARING!!! post all open source material as required by agreements

    Re: Welcome PLEASE READ!

'ello, k0nane here, call me that, James, or "that one guy", doesn't really matter. I'll be your chef for the evening... and tomorrow evening... and so on. I put all this together - blame me for the working name, and such.

I actually just started developing ROMs... a week ago? Actually, less than that at this point; however, in that short time I've essentially got all the internals outward figured out, so, uh, yeah... I do know what I'm doing! (Trust me.)

EDIT: Oh yeah, I'm a computer science undergrad at Auburn, spend a few months of the year in Texas (my previous home), and I'm an IT consultant with clients in general small/medium business, law, finance, and education.

    Hi everyone!
I'm Candice, your Head of Public Relations and Marketing. I'm a recent graduate, with a degree in Mass Communications (concentrated in Advertising/ Public Relations/Journalism). I provide freelance media services (pr/journalism/photography/etc.) to the Chicago metro area. I'm very excited to be a part of this team. I'm here to manage our public image, making sure everyone knows how awesome we are and the work we produce (which will certainly be excellent!). I'm fairly new to the world of rooting, ROMs, and modding, but I'm a quick learner. Hopefully everyone here will be nice enough to help me out when I need it. I'm looking forward to working with you guys.

    Howdy!

I'm DevinXtreme, et cetera, meh! I tinker with the kernel and try to get things working or make what already works work better. I've been programming since I was 14 (I'm 20 now), but this is my first time playing with the Linux kernel. It's a lot less intimidating than I had initially thought it would be.

I'm currently in school, 8-3, Monday through Friday in a computer science course. I focus primarily in programming and networking. I live in northern Utah.

The Epic is my second Android phone, the Hero being the first. However, I've played with the G1, the G2, the MyTouch, the MyTouch 3g and 3g slide, and the Nexus One.

    Ummm... yeah.

Re: EVERYONE please READ and Say Hello

In my hello here I would like to first apologize for taking so long! I've been having some issues with my GF being out of work we cut our internet off and it's making things difficult relying on my phone to connect to the web. I have a background in Java Programming and I am currently in school for a degree in IT with concentration in Software Programming. I honestly have no real experience programming in Android but have the tools I need and am eager to learn!!
