moto photon kernel issue

im new to this so bare with me, rooted my photon so i can tether, everything was fine now its sayin my kernel cannot support this app need to update or something along those lines, do i have to flash the kernel to update it, if so how do i, and does it matter which kernel i use?

I don't have your phone, but normally you would flash a kernel in recovery mode. Search for and only use kernels which were created specifically for your model of phone, otherwise you will definitely have a headache.

Motorola is a good phone only.... But when adding this facility like flash this going to be a issue as mentioned above.
