same phone???

I am on us cellular, i just bought the galaxy sII. I have it rooted and am looking forward to flashing and experimenting with roms. actually i am running asc right now and love it. The problem I am having is that no custom roms support this phone. i could find hardly any info on this except that this phone is nearly identical to the samsung Epic 4g touch, which would make sense since that is where i got the download for this rom. My question is, is this true, can I safely flash roms that are built for the Epic? (I know, flashing custom roms is not perfectly safe ever but ive messed around with enough phones and Im perfectly aware of the risks). and does it affect anything flashing a rom made for a sprint phone while i am on us cellular. Thanks for any help!

No, you will get stuck in a bootloop or brick your phone. Google SCH-R760. There's a US Cellular forum for it with roms. Epic touch uses different hardware and bandwidths.
