    Hi everyone,

I'm a former IBMer, with 30 yrs programming in binary, mainframe programming, COBOL, html, dhtml, SQL, pHP, UNIX, and Linux. I also have worked as a tech support phone jockey having at my disposal a complete lab of various IBM mainframes, IBM Series 1, circuit boards, printers, analog modems and later IBM PC1 and PC2, then additional IBM pcs at my disposal in my lab to tinker, and macygver to resolve issues. I'm experienced in the later builds of various company produced pc's, laptops, printers, routers, ethernet setups, and scripting via various mainframe applications (e.g. tso), as well as remote access. My job as support was to talk/walk the techs on site on which part to replace and give the exact schematics and instructions on how to do it down to which wire or chip needed to be replaced or repaired. I also have extensive exerience in dismantling pc's, servers and printers. Most of which was learned on the job as there were not many classes available at that time for these types of things, so that is how I had acquired my lab. Later when my job was shipped off-shore I was placed in crisis management to run bridge calls involving executive management and the required support personnel in order to get the outage up and running with little downtime to save the company money. I worked with countless CEO's, CIO's, EVP's, VP's, Directors, as well as the on call support team to get the job done. Then that job was sent off shore... so now I'm "upgrading" my skillset via classes in forensics and hope to obtain a position in one of the DOD agencies in computer forensics.

I have kept up with technology over the last several years to 1. keep my skill set current, and 2. it became a rather obsessive hobby lol.

Android is my newest "baby" and I am currently working an a "bandaid" to fix the many sprint SSGS2ET recipients of ICS 4.0.4 which has several issues. I will finish that OTA project, and post in a general section for testing before packaging it for those who wish to have it until a stable ICS is formulated.

oh and I'm married and have a cute puppy named Trixie who is a west highland white terrier that loves watching youtube LOL

I'm of the ideal that diplomacy is the means in which to resolve any issue and do not respond to insults or flaming. I only present myself within serious topics as a professional... not off topics I have been known to joke a bit... :)

Nice to be here! and looking forward to some fun Androiding!
