So in June when the HTC Evo 3D comes out, I have every intention of getting one.
The wife is geting the Epic 4G. ;-)
I'm curious then, will anyone be working on the root and a new ROM? I'll help in any way possible if anyone is interested.
I've heard it will ship with Gingerbread, HTC Sense 3.0 and the 3D technology, so no doubt it will be complicated. I just remember what stock software is like, and I'm fine with it when the novelty of the phone is fresh. But I'm always thinking forward.
I thought I remember seeing somewhere that the software data had already been leaked.
I'm just absolutely diggin this SyndicateROM Frozen and would love to take it with me onto my new device. I will of course continue to care for (and tamper with) the wife's Epic.
Thanks!

I am almost 99% positive that this phone will be developed here at ACS. It is going to be a dream phone. I may get one also. Just haven't decided yet.

My upgrade is not available to me till Feb... Looking forward to see what the holidays, CES and Barcelona bring us this upcoming season. Otherwise... I too will be putting my ape hands all over that EVO3D.

I should be getting mine around release so I look forward to unboxing it for the team if I can.
This is exciting stuff... Too bad you can't record the unboxing with it's own camera so you can record it in 3D.
But still looking forward to a great 2D rendition of the unboxing.
