Samsung Prevail One Click Root

Hi! so I'm new to rooting. I made this account just so I could get some advice on here. Tried it once and bricked the phone I had at the time. but I hate the Prevail as is. I just tried to root it using this method and nothing happened. Kept getting error messages . I'm really not a tech savy guy anyway.

Hello, I am very new here! I have a samsung galaxy prevail 2.3.5 that I am trying to root. I have looked everywhere and so far haven't been able to accomplish this. Also tried downloading Superoneclick, it didn't work :( would get to certain point and just stop responding. I need something really easy, I have tried to click on the one click root link above and it's not working. Please help!!!
