Press any key to continue . . .
and it does not root even after several attempts. I does however work the first time flawlessly on windows 7 32bit. Thanks very much hope the data helps.
To get the Root to work on Windows 7 64bit you must right click on PrevailToExistence and click Properties> Compatibility> check run this program in compatibility mode and select Windows XP (service pack 3) apply and then run the PrevailToExistence. Worked for me. Before this i had the same problem as sandman15552000. This fixed it on Windows 7 x64. You are all welcome. PS. don't update your phone!

I was just going to ask that about updating the detail made it sound like it would block out future rooting. Is this what it does If so I think it should be put at the top for a warning. My other question is if I restart my phone or turns of will it auto install it. I must keep my battery charged.
I will post what the update say in this post so others can search and find it. This is what was on my screen When I turned my screen on:
Samsung Update
Downloaded and verified 4.2MB
This update will address a root compromise and secure your phone. A reboot will be required and service will not be available while performing the update.
I translate this as we will now unroot your phone and make it so you cannot root it again.
But a few days later, i get the same thing as sandman15552000 :
"Samsung Update
Downloaded and verified 4.2MB
This update will address a root compromise and secure your phone. A reboot will be required and service will not be available while performing the update."
I'd love to be able to kill these Samsung Update notifications.
Update:
I got rid of the update reminder on startup, I'll let you know how long that lasts.
1) Download and install Autostarts
2) Under 'After Startup', locate entries for Google Services Framework. (My Prevail has 4 entries)
3) Click on them till you find the one that says at the bottom "Receiver com.google.android.gsf.update.SystemUpdateServiceR eceiver" (4th one on mine)
4) On that same entry for the Service Framework, click Disable
5) Reboot the phone, no more update reminder.
sorry didn't refresh before post
