    [ROM][ACS] ShabbyMod - 0.9

Shabbypenguin and the Android Creative Syndicate
are proud to present to you

    ShabbyMod

    0.9

dont mind the blue tint, shootme has some issues with yalls phone

Alright lets get to the nitty gritty of it all, this is the thread where all 0.x-1.x versions will be released, as it stands right now this is nothing more then just a glorified stock, but its better then that ;). deodexing the rom allows for easier themeing so i want to see some creative shit start to flow in.. yall dont want me making themes... anyways down to the goods

I want to apologize to anyone that was affected by version 0.5, i want to say thanks for teh support ive received during these past few days. as you can see ive decided to continue on doing what i can for yall. on that note it has been brought to my attention that i should include a disclaimer:

This is a product designed outside of samsung, i do not have the resources to make sure it is "bug-proof" (apparently they dont either.. but thats another story). as such by installing this software YOU accept responsibility for your actions. if anything does happen i will try my best to assist you, but i cant promise anything. as such i try my very hardest to make sure things work just great before they ever get put out in the public

    Changelog:

    0.9
    • Rocking a custom boot animation made by ardchoille
    • fixed linux script
    • Added some nice preloaded apps and hiddenmenu.apk ;)
    • rocking a new theme
    • boot animation is now enabled.. you can find em all over the net, there is apps on teh market that will change em for you. if you ask me on how to change your boot animation i will team view into your computer and set it so you can never remove the shabbymod one :)

    Slim:

First thing you'll notice when you start it up is there is no launcher buttons. This made me have to pause for a second. if you go ahead and push the menu button it will bring up the menu where you can add widgets short cuts and apps to your interface along with a very slim selection of launcher icons. the only I found out of the usual suspect was phone dial pad and apps drawer. Shortcuts do no work in this launcher. Every time you select a shortcut it brings you to the shortcut you select. If you select shortcut then contact it will just bring you to your contacts. One cool thing is to can put app in your launcher bar. See picture above. So I just grabbed contact, message, and browser apps and put them on the launcher bar. It will aromatically re-size the app icons depending on how many you put on it. You will see the mail app has been taken out. So you just have gmail. The keyboard has been changed to the simple android keyboard. No haptic feedback. It a very minimal and clean interface for those who want it.

    Loaded:

This launcher is truly loaded. There are options every where. This can be a little overwhelming at first, but this also makes it highly adaptable to everyone's needs. I highly suggest taking a little time to push the menu in every part of the launcher and exploring all the option for the best experience. Launcher has iphone aspects to it. You can hold on any icons and i will give you multiple options. You can do the same in the app drawer to quickly delete an application. Also when you go to the app drawer the first time after installing a program it will have a little new icon on it. Even has the little app shake going on when you hold you finger on a app. You can change the app drawer to scroll to vertical in the settings. I did this as I found the side paged app drawer double redundant. This would be a good option for people that like to make something just like they like it.
