Yes, new phone and .06, one word awesome. The 05 flashed unit sent back for replacement. No 3g issue's, works just as if original rom, just rooted and open to install whatever app. No problems getting replaced they just don't know why isn't working, will replace. Shabbypenguin is a genius, and seems to be a nice genius at that!

Where in the shabbymod file is the voicemail located? What is the filename?

Thank you very much Shabby! You made an a very awesome rom and I realize how much stock sucks! What I notice so far:

Increase in Speed

- Changing from one program to another or going back to home is almost instant compared to stock which will take about 1 - 3 seconds depending.
- High power Programs like Sketchbook Pro shows improvements.


Sketchbook Mobile:

On Stock:
SBM would force close when trying to open a file making saving useless.
SBM will also force close after when exiting and cannot resume (cannot multitask).
SBM will restart when interrupted by phone call losing your work.

On Shabbymod:
Can open files
Will not close on pressing home button can resume
SBM will resume fine after being interrupted by phone call


Gemini App Manager:

On Stock:
After making a change, GAM will restart and lose its place and its filter state in the menu.

On Shabbymod:
After making a change, GAM will continue normally and keeps it place and filter state in the menu.


Pro Launcher:

On stock:
You have to restart Pro Launcher to see any changes (Install new app will not show in menu, Uninstalled App will not dissapear in menu, etc.)

On Shabbymod:
Pro Launcher Updates fine when making and changes.


Small Problems, but not to worry:

Keyboards force closed all the time after rom change, and better keyboard kept crashing after install
restarting the phone has eliminated all force closes on keyboards.

It seems that when I switch to between phone and WiFi internet access, any apps does not notice the change and will stop connecting online.
I just restart the program, and it will connect back to the internet.

Thats about it, I didnt test wifi tethering, everything else is perfect. This rom is the best! Thanks again shabby!

I dont wanna seem like a newbie to this but i guess saying that makes me one. Is there a full fledged tutorial for installing and setting up. Ive been able to figure everything out myself like rooting my phone and all the crazy tethering ive been doing with my phone and ps3 but this a bit more complex to me. Hope im not the only one with this little fib.

install is a one click program, works easily. just connect in debug and run the batch file.

I'm new to rooting cell phones, but i have done modems and such, so i'm not a newbie.

i rooted with the original "one click root" then i discovered these .4, .5, .6 files ... these seems to be updated "one click root's" , CORRECT????

After 0.6 i notice a different user interface, the phone obviously rooted, BUT I GOT NO WI-FI INTERNET NOW!!!

Phone reception seems worse now, and 3g works ... but slower it seems ...... phone itself seems more responsive overall though.

any idea why i can't connect to my home router now, and my phone won't pick up my home network???

**UPDATE**

I re-rooted with the 0.6 and noticed that part way through it said adb.exe was un excutable, and also said "killingmesoftly" file was missing. The file is present in the unzipped folder however.... scratching my head ....

Any thoughts guys??? my user interface is current with the 3 home style boxes ... so the phone rooted correctly right?
